Annandale is a city in Wright County, Minnesota. Minnesota State Highways 24 and 55 are two of the main routes in the city. Annandale is located 50 miles northwest of Minneapolis; and 25 miles south of Saint Cloud. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.01 square miles (7.80 km2), all of it land. The elevation is 1,070 feet (326 m).

As of the census of 2020, there were 3,330 people, 1,493 households, and 978 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,106.7 inhabitants per square mile. There were 1,548 housing units at an average density of 514.3 per square mile. The racial makeup of the city was 92.5% White, 0.5% African American, 0.3% Native American, 0.5% Asian, 1.7% from other races, and 4.4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.1% of the population.
There were 1,338 households of which 28.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 44.0% were married couples living together, 30.3% had a female householder with no husband present, 19.0% had a male householder with no wife present, and 35.4% were non-families. 33.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 17.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.23 and the average family size was 2.74.
The median age in the city was 28.3 years. 20.9% of residents were under the age of 18; 8.2% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 21.1% were from 25 to 44; 22.3% were from 45 to 64; and 27.4% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 41.9% male and 58.1% female.
The median household income was $45,663. The poverty rate was 15.9%. 38.9% of residents of 25 had a high school diploma and had a 12.9% bachelors degree or higher. The unemployment rate was 3.2% with 58.7% of those over 16 employed. The median rent was $764 and 72.0% owned their homes. The average value of a housing unit was $170,100.
